Isaiah Hill (1827-1879) Possibly from Indiana.
Elizabeth Davis Hill (1825-1892) Possibly from Kentucky.
-Children: Mary Ann, Emily, William Aaron, James Allen, Eliza Jane, John H. and Martha L.
Came to Missouri settling in Logan Creek area around 1840s.
Buried in Polk Cemetery, Reynolds County, Mo

-Allen D. Mann
-Julia Mackey Mann
-Jim Rayfield, second husband
-Children: Maggie, Clarence, Clara, Allen, Roy, Finas, Arnold, Robert Lee, Sarah and Minnie.

Julie would raise the family after Allen died in 1912. She married Jim Rayfield and continued farming until they moved to Middlebrook, where she died after being severely burned by a kerosene stove fire. My mother is named after Julie.
Family lore is that Allen was on the train robbed by the Jessie James Gang (pictured above) ) at Gad's Hill in 1872. They made him lie face down on train floor and stole his money and gold watch.

Family lore is that he wanted his funeral preached while he was alive so that he could hear what was going to be said about him. Buried Buffington Cemetery, Reynolds County, Mo
He was a slaveholder (Ella & Emma) - they were freed and given 20 acres in his will. .Helped formed town called Sinking Creek - Riverside. A local landmark is the Phineas Mann Mountain, named after him.

-Arnold Mann (born in Germany, date?) Wife unknown.
-Children: Phineas,Clarence, George and Isaac.
Came to America from Germany, Came to Mo, via the Cumberland Gap from Tennessee and Kentucky into Missouri. Family settled in Reynolds County area around 1810
